Job description

GCBHS has an immediate opening for a Recruiter to be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting, including sourcing talented candidates through traditional job boards as well as innovative and creative methods. Responsible for coordinating general Human Resources activities including job descriptions, student interns, and serving as a member of the HR team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Source talented and diverse social services, behavioral health care, medical professionals, and other candidates through traditional job boards as well as innovative and creative methods.
  • Recruiter coordinates all internal and external job postings for the agency.
  • Coordinates hiring actively with hiring managers.
  • Screen candidate resumes for skill and fit to job requirement specifications. Sends resume and candidate profiles to hiring manager.
  • Maintain and manage the flow of candidates from sourcing through hiring stages.
  • Accurately track and report candidate data and turnover statistics as required for AA/EEO and related Federal contractor compliance.
  • Initiate background, fingerprint, and drug screen checks for candidates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and department teams to ensure hiring requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Build, develop and maintain a pipeline of both passive and active qualified candidates.
  • Participate in recruiting and job fairs. Organize agency recruiting events.
  • Track and coordinate intern sourcing including intern files.
  • Updates positions listed on agency website.
  • Consistently update applicant tracking system and hiring managers on a regular basis.
  • Communicate application status with internal and external applicants.
  • Ensure positive applicant experience from the interview through hiring process.
  • Review and write job descriptions to ensure proper advertisement format for internet job postings, and websites.

Position Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and 2 years Human Resources experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior recruiting experience required. Prior recruiting experience with social service/behavioral healthcare preferred.
  • Experience using ADP or a similar ATS
  • Previous experience with data collection, management and analysis.
  • Recruiter assures and maintains strict confidentiality in terms of employee and applicant data as required by agency policy
  • Well versed with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
