Job description

Position Summary

Under the administrative supervision and direction of the CAAA Board of Trustees; coordinate and provide oversight of the operations of all departments and staff including the medical and clinical operations; responsible for the development of programs and services; and oversees financial management of the organization. This position requires irregular working hours and the ability to be on call when necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in the Behavioral Health field is required, Master's Degree is preferred. The behavioral health field includes Chemical Dependency, Addiction Counseling, Sociology, Social Work, Social Services Administration, Human Services, Psychology, or Psychiatric Rehabilitation; two years of work experience in the related healthcare field; at least five years of verifiable experience in a senior management position in a private, non-profit organization. At least five years of documented experience in working with individuals or groups with substance use disorders. Must possess a working knowledge of federal and state laws governing the operation of out-patient treatment programs (OTPs), and must understand and have experience working with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Directs, administers and monitors all the work activities of the agency including all programs and services, licensing, certification, accreditation, program audits, the development of new programs and revenue streams, and all public relations activities.

Ensure compliance with Board policies and other regulatory provisions.

Development and enforcement of policies and procedures for the operation of the facility; maintenance and security of the facility; employment, credentialing, evaluation, scheduling, training and management of staff; protection of patient rights; conformity of program with federal confidentiality regulations; preparation and management of facility budget.

Advise the administrative staff of required daily operational needs, inform, and interpret for the administrative staff, directives of the Board of Trustees; and communications from regulatory agencies.

Attend Board of Trustees' meetings to keep the Board informed about the status of the agency.

Attends all required meetings (ADAMHS Board, OMHAS, etc.) attends seminars and trainings to enhance knowledge of methods and techniques used in MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment Programs), develops, and maintains working relationships with organizations in the drug treatment field.

Annual Salary Range $120,000.00 - $200,000.00
