Director of Pharmacy - Full Time

St Vincent's Charity Medical Center

Cleveland, Ohio

As a full time Director of Pharmacy with CPS® at St. Vincent's Charity Medical Center, you will oversee all pharmacy operations at including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs. You will lead a staff of roughly 24 pharmacy employees. As Director of Pharmacy with CPS® you will have a full support team available to you including a Regional Manager, Regional Clinical Director, 340B Specialist, Regulatory Specialist, Drug Information Specialist, Finance Director and more.

Schedule: This position works at least 40 hours per week. Hours may vary, and can be long and irregular to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Qualifications:

* PharmD degree
* Current Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
* At least 1 year of recent hospital pharmacy management experience
* Experience working with 340B
* Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
* Ability to work cooperatively with other members of CPS and hospital and pharmacy staff

About the facility: St. Vincent's Charity Medical Center, is the very first private hospital in the city of Cleveland, and is one of two hospitals owned by the Sisters of Charity Health System. As a Joint Commissioned accredited facility, St. Vincent's is licensed for 448 beds, and is currently operational at 152 beds with an ADC of 75 patients. Services include bariatric, orthopedic and spine surgeries, as well as adult and geriatric Psychiatric Services.

The Pharmacy is open 24/7 and has an integrated centralized/decentralized model with pharmacists on the floor in some units. CPS® has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS®.

Hospital Requirements:

* (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
* (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
* Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
* (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
* Respirator FIT Mask Test
