We're looking for an organized, energetic, LIHTC savvy, Occupancy Specialist to join our team at Rainbow Terrace in Cleveland, OH!

The Occupancy Specialist is responsible for all activities related to achieving maximum occupancy at the property and generally responsible for applications, move-ins, and lease renewals, including re-qualifying applicants annually and on an interim basis in accordance with the guidelines of the programs within the community.

The Occupancy Specialist will work collaboratively with the property team; administering Vesta's standard operating procedures, affordable program compliance and maintenance programs to achieve maximum occupancy and superior resident customer service satisfaction.

. Requirements:

Requirements

• HS diploma or equivalent;
• 2 years of related experience in a property management or apartment leasing office.
• Experience with site based affordable housing programs strongly preferred, specifically LIHTC.
• COS Certified Occupancy Specialist and/or CPO Certified Professional of Occupancy certification required.
• Experience with public housing re-certifications, processing interims and knowledgeable with EIV Reports.
• Experience with Yardi strongly preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required
• Multilingual highly preferred
