We are searching for a talented and seasoned Recruiter to be based out of our downtown L.A. office.
Please Note: This position will be managing the recruiting efforts of our downtown Cleveland, OH office at Key Tower.
Overview
The Recruiter would support the strategic business objectives by effectively and efficiently filling open positions in his/her area of responsibility. This position assists in all recruiting activities which include: recruitment strategies, interview process, evaluation, and recommendation of hire. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work as the primary recruiter for all positions in his/her area of responsibility for all positions supporting the Talent Sourcer, Business and HRBPs for corporate and/or property positions.

Responsibilities:
* Build consultative partnerships with hiring managers, department leaders and external partners to develop talent acquisition strategies and programs for the identification of talent within and outside of the corporate for positions related to immediate and long term hiring needs and objectives.
* Provide strategic solutions to attract qualified candidates as well as to build a pipeline for future hiring needs. Develop and implement alternative sourcing methods; communicates sourcing objectives and develops marketing strategies for internal and external recruitment partners, to ensure obtainment of an experience, professional, and diversified workforce.
* Leads special recruitment projects based on review of current processes to improve the customer experience which includes the quality of service provided to internal clients as well as internal/external applicants and new hires.
* Manage external recruiting vendors and related service providers to ensure delivery of contracted services according to company expectations. Provides direction and feedback through performance discussions.
* Identifies special interest and community groups in which Brookfield Properties HR, business leaders, and associates can engage with in order to promote Forest City's employment brand.
* Ensure timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
* Collaborate with talent development to identify internal associates eligible for transfers or promotions. Collaborate with talent sourcer to build candidate pipelines and candidate relationship management processes.
* Prepare candidates for interviewing by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.

Requirements:
* This position requires an Undergraduate Degree, 3-4 years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position.
* 1-2 years of full life cycle recruiting experience for all levels of positions within an organization is required.
* 3-4 years' experience communicating with business constituents within all levels of an organization is required.
* 3-4 years' experience with proven record of filling positions within time to fill target, within budget and with a high degree of customer satisfaction is required.
* 1-2 years of experience identifying and managing third party recruiters as needed is preferred.
* Must be able to work in a fast paced culture, and be flexible.
* Ideal candidate will have experience with Workday, and iCIMS.
* A preferred certification for this position includes: Certificate in discipline AIRS, PHR OR SPHR.
* Required skills for this position include: Relationship Management, Decision Making, Presentation Skills, Negotiation Skills, Time Management, Personal Effectiveness / Credibility, Adaptable and Application Tracking Systems (ATS).
