IT Business Analyst II (Go To Market)

Columbus, OH

Full Time

As the Business Analyst for Brooksource's food services client here in Columbus, you will be a critical member of a multi-million dollar business transformation program within the Enterprise Solutions team. As an IT BA for this team, you will be supporting projects such as the implementation of SAP S/4 Hana and SAP TPM and other innovative, strategic projects. As the Business Analyst you will partner with business leaders, solutions owners, project managers, and end users to assist with deployment and change management, process mapping, gathering business requirements, etc. If this sounds like you please keep reading and apply!


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years experience as an IT business analyst
  • Experience with elicitation of requirements and business process modeling
  • Exposure to SDLC validation documents such as user requirements specifications, design specification and configuration specification
  • Exposure to SAP technologies is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal skills


Responsibilities:

  • Learn and/or leverage knowledge of Sales processes (e.g. Sales Volume Planning, Trade Promotions Management) and enterprise technologies to execute system transactions and configuration
  • Learn different analytical tools (e.g. Power BI) to proactively identify areas of opportunities for processes and/or applications and/or business support
  • Assist in the planning, design and development of new applications and enhancements to existing applications
  • Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end-users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues
  • Leverage technical expertise to identify opportunities to review and analyze the effectiveness of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems while remaining fit-to-standard and minimize custom development
  • Define, design, and document solutions including but not limited to requirements, business flows, integration process flows, and functional design documents
  • Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems/solutions to aid management in making implementation decisions
  • Participate in system unit test, integration test, user acceptance testing, and other formal and information test activities to test both happy path and non-happy path test scenarios
  • Regularly provide updates and reports on issues, projects and plans; in some cases, build Project Plans
