Receptionist; Hours vary, 9a-6p or 11a-8p rotating F & S 9a-6p

Job Summary

This job requires a patient and a stable work style and consistency in dealing with a repetitive routine. The role demands a cooperative, agreeable, and sympathetic listener who gets along with others and enjoys being helpful to them.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Greets customers as they enter the location
  • Answers phone calls and direct customers to the proper department
  • Ensure that the customer has been connected and isn't on hold for too long
  • Listen and be empathetic to customer complaints and direct them to the appropriate department manager
  • Get acquainted with other department team members, so you have a better understanding of what they do. This knowledge will be helpful when transferring calls.
  • Scanning documents for electronic storage
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with cashier duties as needed; this includes collecting money from service and parts customers, entering payments due, discounts, and rewards into the computer system, as well as balancing transactions at the end of the day.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to operate a computer, calculator, copier, scanner, and other standard office equipment
  • Available to work flexible hours
  • Consent to a background check and drug screening
