Pathways Financial Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated and friendly Teller for our Columbus West Branch location.

This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills and expertise as a Teller. This successful candidate is responsible in providing professional, prompt, and courteous service to members while processing routine financial transactions and answering questions. As the initial point of contact to our members, the Teller promotes optimal member engagement by educating our members about the products and services we have to meet their financial needs. Maintaining member confidence and protecting credit union operations by keeping information confidential is essential.

Duties:

• Accept deposits, cash checks, processes withdrawals, credit card and loan payments.
• Process checks and balance cash drawer daily.
• Educate and promote products, services and special promotions to the members, answer questions and directs members to appropriate department for specialized services.
• Provide exceptional Member Service by assisting members with account questions.
• Identify potential fraudulent activity to prevent credit union losses and to protect the member from having losses due to fraud.
• Knowledge of credit union products and services, quality service standards, established controls and security procedures, and compliance regulations.
• Cross train to perform other duties as assigned.
• Observe Credit Union guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Availability to work Saturdays 9:00am to 12:00pm

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong skills in interpersonal communications, organization, attention to detail and sales.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Desire to work with a great, professional team that is among the best in the industry.
