Responsibilities:
This position is for an Acquisition Master Scheduler - Senior Consultant for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. Duties include applying knowledge and experience in Life Cycle Acquisitions, policies, and procedures to Air Force weapon systems, subsystems, acquisition programs, and program management and scheduling throughout their life cycles.

Qualifications:
Qualifications - Required

BA/BS with six (6) years related experience in a field relevant to program management, Schedule Management (development and analysis) and/or Analytical functional areas; or a Master's degree and five (5) years' experience in a field relevant to functional area; or eighteen (18) years in functional area without a degree. At least five (5) years of that experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects.

Active Secret clearance

Acquisition experience in the following:

Weapon system planning and execution through all phases of acquisition life cycle to include: Program Management, Program Scheduling and Analysis

Conducting schedule health assessments, critical path analysis, and risk management

Knowledge of Government Life Cycle Acquisition processes and documentation

Familiarity with Contracts and Contract Requirements Processes

The candidate may also be required to perform a wide range of program management activities, such as:

Gathering a variety of program information Research for data to support schedule development - data mining

Specific program data - contracts, applicable Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), Government specifications, project processes, and status

Conducting analyses, tracking, and scheduling

Assisting in developing and analyzing key program metrics

Supporting program briefings

Effectively communicating recommendations orally and in writing to higher organizational management.

Write schedule specific contract requirements as necessary

Promote/coach scheduling in Government program management

Critical thinking

Qualifications - Desired

Clear understanding of the DoD acquisition and sustainment organizations

Experience working with Microsoft Project, Excel and Access

Experience with additional schedule and database tools a plus

Additional Requirements:
