American Freight is currently seeking an Asset Manager to assist with facility management and construction with the American Freight Real Estate team.

Who You Are:
You have 3 to 5 years of experience working in real estate or facilities management for a retailer or other multi-unit organization. You communicate and collaborate with internal and external service providers and partners as well. You have a roll up your sleeves and make things happen mindset. This role will report to the AF Director of Real Estate and Construction.
What You'll Do:
* Ensure that all AF stores and facilities are fully operational with all utilities functioning
* Schedule and supervise all maintenance and repair needs utilizing local and national contractors
* Ensure all facilities are compliant with state and federal regulations, and assist with energy management
* Oversees and supervises the quality of work for contractors and service providers to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively
* Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly
* Maintain ongoing communication with store teams, field leaders, contractors and corporate support team
* Coordinate with AF legal team to understand AF obligations under leases to ensure that landlords are held responsible for their obligations for maintenance, repairs and construction needs in stores and other facilities
* Maintain budget and supervises the financial and physical resources of all facility management, repairs and maintenance
* Responsible for Delaware Support Center facility management and maintenance along with any construction projects, as needed

Our ideal candidate:
* 3 to 5 years of experience working with retail or other multi-unit organization in similar role
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations
* Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
* High energy, positive outlook and can work collaboratively across departments
* Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task
* Strong presentation skills and are comfortable with technology
* Ability to travel as necessary to stores and other faciliites
