Job description

Recruiter - FT position responsible for coordinating and participating in Associate recruitment activities for Delaware, Polaris, Powell, Westerville and Licking County

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organizes, schedules, coordinates and participates in job fairs, school/community events, interviewing functions and open house recruiting events.
- Develops outside recruiting sources and participates in recruitment outreach activities.
- Acts as recruiting liaison with outside contacts.
- Screens, interviews and determines skill level and placement potential of candidates and refers suitable individuals to appropriate branch for placement.
- Works with Market Managers to forecast employment needs and assist with the development of decentralized recruitment plans/calendars.
- Identifies and tracks effectiveness of recruitment sources and events specific to the area assigned.
- Provides guidance to applicants seeking employment opportunities in assessing their career goals.
- Provides guidance to internal staff in choosing suitable candidates for specific positions.

A successful Recruiter must have: skills in interviewing techniques; the ability to perform non-biased candidate assessments.

Standard business hours, some overtime may be required. A large portion of the work day will be spent at outside recruiting events.
