Job description

$500 Sign on Bonus

Responsibilities:

DRIVING 14 passenger school bus and/or 6 passenger minivan.(No CDL required)

To drive: MUST be 21 and over and have a clean driving record to drive Horizon

Vehicles Responsible for the care and supervision of children while transporting

Provide functional classroom support if needed

Assist in documentation for attendance and transportation services provided

Build positive relationships with children and families as needed

FT must be able to work split shifts 7am-9:30am. And 1:30pm-4:30pm.

PT must be able to work either 7am-9:30am. or 1:30pm-4:30pm.

Seasonal requirements would include field trips, additional destination trips and some supervision support requirements while there.

Bus inspections, maintaining of mileage log, and bus cleaning is required

Qualifications:

High School diploma

Some training, experience and/or interest in child development preferred

Must be 21+yrs. old to drive Horizon vehicles; training provided

Willingness to update job knowledge with required ODJFS and SUTQ trainings and professional development

Demonstrate cross cultural competency while working with Horizon's diverse population.
