Northwest Ohio Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Inc is hiring for a dedicated and energetic medical receptionist to join our Orthopedic team in Findlay Ohio!

Description: This position will be responsible for the following:

1. New Patient Intake

2. Established Patient Intake

3. Verification of Schedules & Secondary Insurances

4. Kiosk Management & Portal Room

5. Patient Check-Out

This position must employ critical thinking, confidentiality, troubleshooting techniques, immediate response to the needs of our patients (physicians, administration, or co-workers) and effective communication with co-workers, physicians, administration and patients.

Requirements: Must have excellent customer service skills and portray those skills over the phone and to patients in person. Employee must possess effective communication skills, and demonstrate active listening skills as they are the first point of contact for the caller, whether it is a patient, physician, co-worker or administration. Must possess the ability to work in a high stress environment and work well and positively with others. Employee must work independently and possess critical thinking skills to effectively handle emergency phone calls. Employee must also work as a positive team member with those surrounding, as being cross-trained in other responsibilities will be beneficial to primary tasks. Employee must possess a high level of confidentiality when dealing with patient/hospital information. Employee must have organizational and keyboarding skills. Employee must maintain all certifications.
