We have an immediate Junior Buyer career opportunity with a growing company in Hudson, OH. The Junior Buyer is responsible for maintaining relationships with vendors and expediting purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery. Solicits quote proposals and purchases materials and components for capital and spare parts sales. Assists purchasing department with administrative duties. This immediate Direct Hire position come with an excellent benefits package and team-oriented work environment

**_Pay rate range:_** $40,000 - $45,000

**_Hours:_** 8am-5pm (flex to work 7am-4pm or 7:30am-4:30pm=8-hour days)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Monitors and expedites orders

+ Resolves issues to ensure requirements are met

+ Negotiates and administers purchase orders

+ Solicits bid proposals

+ Maintains technical and commercial communications between suppliers and personnel

+ Performs special projects and other duties as assigned by the purchasing

+ Adheres to company procurement policies and strategies

REQUIREMENTS:

+ Purchasing experience preferred

+ Accurate data entry skills

+ Strong communication and negotiation skills

+ Previous experience in a manufacturing setting helpful

+ Proficiency in MS Office products (Word & Excel) required

+ Able to work in a team environment

+ Fluency in written and spoken Japanese is a plus (not required)

+ Desire for advancement and increasing responsibility
