What will you do as a Technical Recruiterr?
• The Technical Recruiter is responsible for making connections and developing relationships with IT professionals who may be a good fit for assignment with Modis' clients.
• Technical Recruiters are expected to source qualified IT candidates daily.
• Modis relies on the judgment of the Technical Recruiter to accurately qualify the candidates, negotiate a rate that is profitable for Modis, and secure the candidate's commitment to take the assignment.
• Technical Recruiters maintain and further develop relationships with the IT consultants to build a long lasting commitment to Modis.
• Responsibilities include: Sourcing candidates; Qualifying candidates; Negotiating pay rates; Consultant on-boarding; Client/manager facilitation; Consultant relationship-building; Database maintenance
What will prepare you for success as a Technical Recruiter?
• Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 years experience in a staffing, sales or business environment.
• Previous experience in IT or technical staffing is an asset.
• Candidates must possess exceptional communication and phone skills, a great personality, strong organization skills and a strong desire to succeed.
• Should have a high level understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ideal candidates will have a basic understanding of various technologies and IT verbiage.
