Job Summary:

The Office Manager/Human Resources Coordinator performs general administrative duties. This position also coordinates Human Resources activities for the company.

The schedule for this position is 30 - 40 hours a week.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Office Management (85% of time)

  • Performs general administrative duties such as answering phones, distributing mail, preparing documents, and other administrative support as needed.
  • Answers the general phone line and greets all guests who visit the company.
  • Performs or facilitates maintenance of office equipment
  • Maintains inventory of office supplies, and orders new supplies as needed.
  • Maintains office files in an efficient method for other staff to access files and records.

Human Resources (15% of time)

  • Conducts new employee orientation
  • Assists employees in completing new hire and benefits paperwork
  • Answers basic employee questions about benefits
  • Coordinates interview process
  • Coordinates employee review process
  • Maintains employee files

Performs other related duties as assigned

. Requirements:

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least three years of administrative experience required.
  • At least one year of human resources experience preferred
  • Ability to type at least 60 words per minute.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience with E2 Audit Software, a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
