Job description

3rd shift Set up mechanic/Maintenance - Massillon, OH - $20-25/hr - 90/10 benefits package, PTO, 401k

**Description:**

- Performs all activity with safety of self and others as the number one concern

- Changes and/or positions, aligns, and adjusts dies, punch presses, tracks, conveyors, packing trays, etc. leading to the production of quality product in a cost effective manner

- Troubleshoots and corrects problem areas

- Performs preventive maintenance

- Uses computer to capture data, keep records, and share information

- General housekeeping and cleanup of the assigned work areas

- Adhere to all safety, quality, and plant policies

- Pack aluminum and steel ends, lids, and or cans into bags, sleeves, cartons, and/or pallets when giving breaks to co-workers

- Completing required paperwork, examples: production logs, QA checks, etc.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

- Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or GED

- Strong mechanical inclination

- maintenance, millwright, machine building, machine setup, OR working on cars, trucks, trailers.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

- Must be able to stand for long periods as well as work on elevated stationary platforms and withstand climate changes, especially during summer and winter months

- Must be able to work under pressure and adjust to sudden changes with work patterns or schedules

- Ability to work independently and with teams and possess good interpersonal skills

- Must be able to work 8 or 12-hour shifts, days, evenings, midnights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
