Primary Responsibilities

* Conduct audits of the accounting and statistical data of various departments and Company locations to verify accuracy and efficiency and to assess that the activities of various departments are in compliance with Company policy.
* Assist in the development of the scope, objectives, and work plan for all assigned audit engagements.
* Assist in the preparation of reports on the results of audits and special projects.
* Document, analyze, and evaluate existing policies and procedures to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls at various levels in the Company.

Qualifications

* A four-year college degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Three to five years of audit experience is required.
* A Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor of other appropriate certification along with prior SAP software experience is preferred.
* An understanding of internal control concepts and have experience in applying them to plan, perform, manage, and report on the evaluation of various business processes/areas/functions.
* Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present to peers and management.
* Possess excellent analytical ability and business judgment.
* Must be able to travel.
