Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Interview and select candidates for openings, set goals for associates, assign tasks/duties, conduct on-the-job training, develop associates' skills and encourage growth, prepare disciplinary write-ups as appropriate, prepare and conduct performance reviews and make recommendations for salary adjustments, approve timecards for 3 FTEs and other duties associated with managing a staff

  • Ensure Bank remains compliant to all state statutes (including changing mandates) and meets all due diligence and
    deadline requirements

  • Facilitate all functions related to Unclaimed Property reporting duties and requirements

  • Performs operational accounting activities related to account reconciliation and maintenance

  • Collaborate with Compliance/Legal to ensure best practices are employed in policies and procedures

  • Provide support in both internal and external audits

  • Provide guidance/support to internal departments and/or branches to resolve customer inquiries and research requests

  • Serve as the escalation point for more complex unclaimed property issues

  • Support management with roll out of Bank mandated Risk programs and in establishment of appropriate governance
    framework

  • Perform data analysis for identification of thematic risk issues and escalate, suggest remediation as appropriate

  • Identify and participate in efforts for process standardization, short-term tactical improvements and longer term strategic
    initiatives including automation of reporting processes

  • Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks

  • Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards

SCHEDULE

Typical office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.This position is exempt and full-time. A minimum 40 hours is required per week.
