Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Summary: The position is responsible for various entry-level production functions including Assembly, Test Operator, Materials Handling and Stockroom.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include one or more of the following:
Kitting work orders, cycle counting, labeling, and related work.
Responsible for wrapping and packaging jobs based upon customer instructions
Responsible for final circuit board preparation
Ensures that final circuit boards are operational by performing Class 1 tests
Set-up reels and parts in magazines for the surface mount machines
Responsible for the hand assembly of parts into the electronic circuit board for conformance to established specifications.
Follow and locate manufacturing instructions for assigned jobs
Follow requirements for 1st pc audits and in-process audits
Uses basic computer skills as needed job responsibilities
Perform general area/equipment/machine cleaning
Other duties may be assigned

Completed quality systems training
All safety and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements of the area
Principles of ESD and uses ESD precautions in material handling
Inventory control methods (i.e. shortages, and understand of work order system)
All material transactions within computer (inventory audit trails)
ITAR restrictions when dealing with badges and ITAR related materials and documentation
the 6S system (Sort, Simplify, Sweep, Standardize, Self-Discipline, Safety) and adheres to and encourages others to comply with the principles

Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by Team Member to successfully perform of the essential functions of this job.
Heavy: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Constantly reach 90-100% of the time; frequently balance, stoop, crouch, stand, walk, lift, finger, grasp and do repetitive motions 60-90% of the time; Occasionally climb, push, pull, talk and hear 30-60% of the time; Rarely feel 0-30% of the time.
Visual Acuity: The Team member is required to have close visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations. Ability or increased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions.
Work Environment: The Team member is subject to inside environmental conditions and rarely (0-30%) subjected to outside environmental conditions. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to increase volume in order to be heard above ambient noise level. Team Member is rarely (0-30%) of the time, subjected to hazards from moving vehicles and climbing ladder.
The Team Member is required to work overtime occasionally.
