Our site in Perry, Ohio is part of the Global Manufacturing Solutions (GMS) business. We specialise in low volume, high mix electronics manufacturing for the aerospace, defense, industrial, and medical industries. With locations in North America, Europe and Asia, we provide highly engineered electronics and electromechanical assemblies for world-leading manufacturing companies. We provide customers with tailored business solutions, global sourcing and logistics.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Our 3-month summer internships are designed to help you build the knowledge, insight and expertise to get ahead of the competition and better prepare you for your career after graduation. You will work side by side with our talented, cross-functional teams on projects that matter. From day one, you'll be given hands-on, meaningful work and expected to make a difference!

This position can be located 1 of 3 locations: Minneapolis, MN, Olathe, Kansas, or Cleveland, OH.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Marketing Intern will work with our Marketing team to create and maintain general content for internal and external audiences including on our digital platforms

Support the Marketing team in daily administrative tasks

Conduct market research in support of business development pursuits, competitive analysis and other company initiatives

Creation of marketing and advertising promotional activities on various social media platforms

Assist with research and presentation development

Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)

Projects and additional duties will be assigned throughout the assignment based on current business needs

Interns will be expected to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours/week and will be compensated on an hourly basis

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
Completion of Junior year in an accredited college with a major in Marketing or Communications

Strong organizational skills and detail orientation is required

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel strongly preferred

A creative approach to problem solving

Analytical mindset

Enjoys working and collaborating in a team environment
