Title: Human Resources Manager, AME

Reports to: HR, Director, US

The main purpose of the Human Resources Manager, AME is to collaborate and lead HR activities in his/her Area and ensure consistency and quality of HR services for Area leaders and managers. The Human Resources Manager, AME acts as a business partner for the Area business management. S/he is part of the US HR Team and reports to the HR, Director, US.

1. Organization support for Area management

Human Resources Manager, AME collaborates with the HR, Director, US to apply and implement the people strategy for the Area together with the Area Management according to the Group and Region guidance.

Human Resources Manager, AME implements the organizational development projects in the Area and ensures Area Management received required support in people processes and in day to day people topics. In addition, the Human Resources Manager, AME may, from time to time, be nominated by the HR, Director, US to participate and support the Region and Group in such projects.

S/he also supports any acquisition integration and change management activities in the Country/Area.

S/he supports implementation of Country/Area business strategies and Country/Area implementation of group people strategy according to the Group and Region guidance or direction.

2. Tailors and develops HR programs to local needs

Human Resources Manager, AME supports the BAs, Group and local management in implementing their HR strategies in the Country/Area.

S/he identifies and implements specific development programs if these are required on local level.

Human Resources Manager, AME supports the Area Management in identifying, developing and maintaining the core capabilities of employees in the Area and works with the HR, Director, US to ensure the same for the Country.

S/he works with the training organization in supporting and promoting training needed for the Area related to HR topics and competency development.

3. Compensation & Benefits performance management.

Human Resources Manager, AME is responsible for assisting Area Management to understand, decide and communicate pay decisions effectively to employees.

S/he ensures the Area Management are able to advise local managers and employees in reward matters.

Human Resources Manager, AME assists Area Management in the application of the Konecranes Short Term Incentive Policy.

4. Talent Development

Human Resources Manager, AME should assist Area Management in identifying gaps in needed skills for all respective BAs.

S/he is responsible for assisting Area Managers with completing Konecranes Talent management process and talent mapping.

S/he assists in succession planning and career path utilization in the Area.

5. Employee Relations.

Human Resources Manager, AME ensures that Konecranes is in compliance with local employment laws, regulations and work council processes and, where needed, facilitates the relationship with employee representative, works councils and unions.

EXPERIENCE: At least three years' experience as a human resources generalist. Recruiting experience a plus. D&I experience a plus.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Human Resourses or other corresponding major is required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Occasional travel required, possibly overnight and international. Must have a take charge attitude, be decisive and possess a high level of responsibility. Must be comfortable in a fast pace, growth-oriented environment.
