Job description

You will be responsible for executing our sourcing and recruiting strategy for Matco Tools and Hennessy Industries. You will have responsibility for executing the recruiting process from start to finish, effectively utilizing the existing processes, systems, and tools available.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Lead intake meetings with hiring managers to strategize search plans and keep hiring managers up to date on status of open requisitions
* Sourcing, screening, and selection of candidates for sales, marketing, supply chain, operations, finance, engineering, IT, customer service and other professional level roles
* Identify and utilize the best sourcing channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and social media, to locate, engage and attract diverse candidates, including minorities, women, veterans, and people with disabilities, for positions in different fields
* Proactively contact passive prospects to attract high-quality candidates to Matco and Hennessy
* Work with HR team and hiring managers to ensure candidates are screened to meet the qualifications for positions
* Track and monitor Talent Acquisition metrics and implement countermeasures when necessary
* Maintain relationships with candidates during the screening and interview process
* Disposition candidates appropriately and send communications to candidates
* Work with HR team for offer approvals and negotiation with candidates
* Serve as Taleo SME, including managing requisition templates and serving as Super User
* Monitor and manage social media/career pages
* Lead college and university planning and recruiting efforts for intern positions

CAREER PROGRESSIONS / PROMOTABLE TO: Talent Acquisition/Planning Manager, HR Business Partner

* Bachelor's degree required
* 4+ years recruiting experience in full cycle recruiting capacity preferred
* 2+ years experience performing heavy sourcing and networking to find qualified candidates preferred
* Experience using technology, social media, and creative recruitment techniques to source candidates
* Solid telephone and communication skills, including proficiency in cold calling
* Experience working with applicant tracking systems (Taleo a plus)
* Ability to influence hiring managers' talent decisions
* Ability to understand the business strategy and connect it to a talent strategy
