Civil/Environmental Project Manager - Oil & Gas

Overview:
As a Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Oklahoma City, OK, you will be responsible for business development, client management, and project and technical management aspects from execution to completion. The focus of this role is for upstream, midstream, and transmission related project for the oil and gas industry. You'll develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their goals and help them to achieve those goals. You will also represent the company at conferences and in meetings to resolve project issues, plan and coordinate work, and negotiate contracts. You will work closely with other CEC professionals locally and across the country to develop opportunities, build business relationships, and apply best practices to address client needs, and mentor junior and mid-level staff in the proper planning and execution of projects, and in directing or conducting technical reviews of client deliverables.

Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry;

BS/MS in engineering (civil or environmental), environmental science, or related degree;

Well established reputation and recognition in the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana or New Mexico marketplace through relationships with environmental regulatory agencies and active engagement in trade organizations;

Proven ability to development business opportunities and contribute to new sales with upstream and/or midstream operators;

Exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills;

Ability to manage a large, multi-discipline project. For example a pipeline project that includes survey, environmental, geotechnical, and construction phase services.
