Job description

We are seeking a HR Manager to join our team! This position is based at the corporate office located in Nichols Hills and handles all of the HR needs for the five Positive Changes facilities located primarily in the OKC metro with one facility in Tulsa employing approximately 120 employees company wide. There will be travel between the locations on an as needed basis. Positive Changes operates during normal business hours Monday through Friday with paid holidays off. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • New hire and on boarding process
  • Maintaining employment records and HRIS
  • Writing, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures and employee handbook
  • Handle workers compensation and unemployment claims
  • Ensure compliance and reporting with all governmental agencies including ACA, EEOC, FMLA, HIPPA and OSHA along with Joint Commission standards
  • Facilitate formal discipline and terminations
  • Educating and enrolling in benefits
  • Handle all employee grievances

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in medical is preferred
  • Bachelors degree in HR or Business related
  • Ability to build rapport with employees
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment


This position is required to have the COVID 19 vaccine and flu immunization annually to meet regulations for the healthcare industry.
