AAA is hiring for an HR Business Partner to join our team! This position acts as a consultant and resource to management on Human Resources related issues. The HR Business Partner works with associates and managers to analyze and address the root of Human Resources issues. This role acts as a strategic business partner and change agent to address the Human Resources issues surrounding employee relations, performance management, federal, state and local employment law compliance, realignment activities, compensation and diversity.

The primary duties of the HR Business Partner are to:
* Serves as point of contact for Associates and Managers to assess, handle and/or escalate employee relations matters. Responsible for judging the severity of situations ensuring issue is addressed and resolved.
* Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data; makes recommendations to management for corrective action or continuous improvement.
* Represents the company and prepares clients for unemployment hearings.
* Provides counsel and advice regarding concerns and recommends problem resolution and next steps. Assists with information gathering and conducts interviews under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager/Director.
* Manages, reviews and advises on the interactive process with associates and management in consultation with Human Resources Manager/Director.
* Consults with management and provides guidance on performance management including coaching, counseling, career development and progressive discipline including analysis of documentation, creation of documents, and serve as a witness, when applicable.
* Analyzes data to determine trends, areas for improvement, and client education opportunities; makes and/or implements recommendations.
* Delivers instructional information based on data analysis and/or existing or emerging employee relations or regulatory matters, as well as, Human Resources programs, policies and systems to management and associates in individual or group settings.
* Responds to individual associate and management inquiries providing insights to interpretation and application of company and business line policies, procedures and benefits. Educates and assists associates and management on use of Human Resources systems and toolkits.
* Maintains integrity of all Human Resources records.
* Actively seeks to learn and understand business of assigned clients through job shadowing, participation in business meetings, reviewing posted business information and similar activities.
* Participates on Human Resources and/or company-wide project teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, and 2-5+ years of applicable experience. In lieu of degree, equivalent experience may be considered.
* PHR or SPHR preferred.
* Effective analytical skills, along with effective oral, written and presentation communication skills to enable accurate completion of assignments and effective interaction with all levels of associates.
* Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize workload in a constantly changing environment.
* Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and influence others.
* Ability to listen and understand information presented through spoken or written words, as well as, convey information effectively to others in both individual and group settings.
* Ability to apply general rules to specific data or problems and provide reasonable assumptions, guidance or suggestions.
* Ability to recognize and understand human behavior including verbal and non-verbal actions and reactions.
* Ability to hold crucial or sensitive conversations with associate and managers.
* Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of various Federal, State and Local labor laws and other Human Resources related topics.
* Ability to learn and work effectively with Human Resources related technology, including systems, software, and social media; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and Internet technology.
* Must have reliable transportation to enable travel to other locations as needed.
