Works closely with internal clients and vendor partners to craft campaigns, identify requirements, set appropriate expectations for capabilities and timelines for alignment with overall marketing strategy. Participates in cross-functional teams in planning, organizing and successfully executing marketing automation efforts and other related technology projects. The role seeks to create a streamlined relationship between marketing technology, especially marketing automation and campaign technologies, marketing operations, and marketing strategy. The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist is a steward for how to use email marketing technology and will help marketers understand how to plan for, use and adopt new marketing automation features and functionality: Does this sound like you? Then read on!: What You Will Do: Lead thinking around best practices and identify new technologies and/or trends in marketing automation: Collaborate and consult across teams on the usage and implementation of new trends, standard methodologies, patterns of effectiveness for marketing automation: Provide a second level of support to Marketing Automation Specialists: Develop automated client journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Train and support new and existing team members: Lead and/or participate in segmentation processes, e.g, use data triggers from the CRM on audience behavior, demographic, firmographic, etc: Support marketing initiatives through marketing process automation technologies needed to develop landing pages, fully automate emails, journeys, campaigns to create an optimal client experience and business outcome e.g., Salesforce, Contentful, social channels: Identify, document, and educate teams on the essential processes to plan and execute marketing campaigns: Analyze email sends and data to find what is working and not working at ACI: Build email marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to promote products or services: Act as a key member of implementation teams: Support of marketing analytics and reporting on program performance (email engagement, new leads, pipeline, return on investment, etc): Provide insights into data management including; database optimization, data acquisition, list/persona segmentation, data cleanliness & integrity within CRM & Marketing Automation databases: Work with partners to develop framework to A/B test across all touchpoints of the customer journey including the website, nurture flows, emails, social, etc: Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners to improve data collection & alignment for systems & processes: Able to provide internal training and share functional knowledge related to day-to-day management of the marketing automation platform: Experience in leading evaluations and vendor selection, including writing business requirements: Understand the end-to-end attendee experience and user interface to create a holistic systems experience for an event: Comfortable working with business, IT, and marketing team: Ability to think quickly and critically on a broad range of marketing technology and digital marketing topics across various verticals: Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Professional demeanor and service orientation; great teammate: What You Will Need: Bachelor's Degree (or higher) related to Marketing or Web Development/Design: 7-9 years of experience in a marketing and/or web development/design role: 6-12 months experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Managed complex marketing automation campaigns, client journey, omni-channel marketing initiatives: Experience presenting strategy and results at a VP/Senior Executive level: Developed and documented business processes to drive effectiveness and efficiency of marketing across multiple channels and client segments: Knowledge of front-end languages HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Fundamental understanding of marketing and audience segmentation: Strong time management skills, with a keen ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines, and adjust priorities based on ever changing business needs: Comprehensive knowledge of the best email marketing methods to maintain list health, ensure high deliverability, etc: Expert level knowledge of marketing automation tools: Ability to conceptualize lead flows, campaign structures, & data flow between automation platforms & CRM/System Integrators: Have experience with analytics tools: Understand the legal implications of handling personal data & the consequences of misuse: Analytical approach to decision making to achieve real-time performance optimization: Accepts change and adapts in a positive and productive manner; handles unexpected situations and changes in direction calmly and with confidence: Excellent strategic, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Additional Requirements: To ensure a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees,clients, and visitors,American Century Investmentscurrently requires allU.S. basednew hires to havesubmitted proof of having received the final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccineprior tothe position start date unless they have obtained a reasonable accommodation.
