Position Description: We are looking for a search professional to join our global talent acquisition team in New York, Newport Beach, Austin, or remotely.Our global talent acquisition team is growing and we have several new team members across the globe. We are in the process of building the top talent acquisition team in asset management and this hire is integral to our effort. Our newest colleague will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting from requisition creation to offer negotiations. He or she will ensure that every search has diversity sourcing component and that we are effectively partnering across HR to best serve our internal clients.The ideal candidate profile is a search professional with at least 10 years of search experience and a mix of at least three years search firm experience and three years internal search team experience.RESPONSIBILITIESFull-life cycle recruiting for a range of roles and career levels across PIMCO;Partner with hiring managers to determine optimal hiring profile and sourcing strategy;Ensure diversity recruiting best practices are utilizes at every step of the recruiting process;Create comprehensive candidate research often including the mapping of top competing firms;Partner with the compensation team, HR generalists, and hiring teams to formulate and deliver offers;Partner with members of the Executive office on Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) initiatives;Partner with the Marketing team to best leverage social media for appropriate searches; Coordinate the interview process in accordance with PIMCO guidelines with direct support of a recruiting coordinator;Share best practices and identify continuous improvement opportunities;Actively partner with the campus recruiting, EMEA and APAC talent acquisition teams to share best practices and provide a seamless service to internal clients; Maintain the accuracy, quality and integrity of all information in Avature (ATS);The ability to coach and mentor teammates as well as the desire to learn from colleagues. Position Requirements: 10+ years' experience as a search professional as a recruiter, researcher, and/or candidate developer;At least three years' experience at retained or contingent search firms;At least three years' experience as part of an internal search team within financial services with preference of having worked at a hedge fund and/or asset manager;Must be client centric, highly collaborative, and possess a team-first attitude;Demonstrated track record with creative sourcing methods via networking, organizations, internet, referrals, investment data providers, and direct recruiting;Proven ability to provide outstanding customer services to the candidates as well as client base; serve as an ambassador, representing PIMCO in the candidate marketStrong credibility and presence, and the ability to influence hiring managers across a variety of personalities;Strong interviewing/assessment skills and ability to influence and close candidates in highly competitive situations;Highly motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills; strong prioritization skills with proven track record of adapting to quickly changing business needs;Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills required;Strong problem solving skills and naturally inquisitive,Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment;Undergraduate degree required, preferably in Business, Management or Finance; advanced degree a bonus.
