Kelly Science is currently recruiting for Chemists to join our dynamic biopharmaceutical client in Bend, OR. We have immediate needs for Chemist II and Chemist III to perform analytical testing under cGMP. These opportunities are Direct Hire, and the need is immediate.

Summary:

The Chemist II/ III position will work in a cGMP regulated environment in a LC-MS or GC-MS lab with advanced instrumentation under the direction of a lab supervisor. Will have the opportunity to develop analytical skills and advance at a small scientific organization that prides itself on a team environment that is flexible and fun, as well as streamlined and professional.

Job Description:

• Performs tasks such as extraction, sampling, and analysis according to regulatory requirements, SOPs, project specific requirements in a LC-MS or GC-MS lab.
• Must be self-driven to develop analytical skills, review and write reports.
• Maintains equipment and environment in proper working order.
• Is an active participant in the continuous improvement of their Quality System.
• Practices safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health and environmental rules and regulations.
• Communicates well with other team members and customers to complete projects efficiently and collaboratively.

Required Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Lab experience minimum: 2-4 years of analytical testing in a cGMP environment using LC-MS or GC-MS. Pharmaceutical experience preferred but open to other industries if worked under restricted guidelines

Pay/Benefits:

• Pay DOE, Chemist II: 24-26/hr. / Chemist III: 28-31/hr.
