DEPARTMENTAL SUMMARY: The St. Charles Talent Acquisition team is comprised of Talent Acquisition Partners, Talent Acquisition Coordinators and a Talent Acquisition Manager. We are a subset of a larger Human Resources department that services positions across all four campuses (Bend/Redmond/Prineville/Madras), including many clinics. Positions across our health system are both clinical and non-clinical in nature.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator's primary responsibility is to provide support to the Talent Acquisition Team by managing the logistics of the recruitment process. The Coordinator will interact daily with Talent Acquisition Partners, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure that our hiring process runs smoothly and that we deliver top notch customer service. This position does not manage any other caregivers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

Communicates with new hires, transfers, and members of the St. Charles contingent workforce to ensure a state-of-the-art candidate experience and clarity in onboarding steps.

Completes all pre-employment screening processes including but not limited to: background checks, drug tests, licensure/degree/certification verifications.

Partners with Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development (OD), training and educational to ensure procedures and legal requirements are completed in a timely manner.

Organizes in-person and web-based interviews and coordinate candidate travel arrangements as needed.

Ensures all new-hire paperwork is completed in compliance with St. Charles Health System, State and Federal guidelines.

Manages the onboarding process for our contingent workforce (temps, travelers, contractors, interim leadership, etc.)

Assists with recruiting event organization and coordination.

Recommends and implements process improvements for the Talent Acquisition team.

Serves as an applicant tracking system subject matter expert. Partners with HRIS team to recommend system enhancements to provide a more lean talent acquisition process.

Conducts all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality. Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures, supporting the health system's corporate integrity efforts by acting in an ethical and appropriate manner, reporting known or suspected violations of applicable rules, and cooperating fully with all company investigations and proceedings.

Delivers customer service and/or patient care in a manner that promotes goodwill, is timely, efficient, and accurate.

EDUCATION

Required: High school diploma or GED

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or another relevant field.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

Required: Valid Oregon driver's license and the ability to travel to all St. Charles Health System worksites.

Preferred: N/A

EXPERIENCE

Required: Three (3) or more years serving in an administrative and customer support type role.

Preferred: Experience in healthcare. Experience supporting a human resources team.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required to perform the job safely.
