Warehouse Scheduling and Operation 100%

  • Responsible for filling orders and other general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment
  • Train, coach and provide day-to-day direction to team members as needed
  • Operate Forklift, and or manually lift and move product using the established procedures and safe operating practices
  • Coordinate daily, weekly and long-term production / inventory flow demands and communicate effectively with Plant Manager, Maintenance and other production team members
  • Act as single point of contact for information and coordination of all aspects relating to shipping, receiving, finished goods storage and inventory control
  • Ensure that daily, weekly equipment inspections are being performed, documented and submitted on schedule.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading of trucks using forklifts and portable loading ramps
  • Complete daily bill of lading load sheets and packaging invoices from delivery truck
  • Restack damages product as needed
  • Dump used and damaged materials
  • Sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the plant grounds


Secondary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for helping production by clearing the packaging line, throwing bags over the stacked pallets, and running the table
  • Participate in clean up, grounds upkeep, and maintenance projects
  • Responsible for assisting other production areas, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


Education / Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • One to five years manufacturing experience required
  • Prior experience with inventory reporting and data entry preferred
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product
  • Certified Forklift License a plus
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on a repetitive basis and sit on a lift for long periods of time
  • Requires the ability to throw covers over loads, climb a ladder approximately 100 feet, and crouch into cramped spaces
  • Must be tolerant to wet, cold, and heat. Requires the ability to do simple math calculations
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills a must
