Director of Growth and Operations
GloballyHired is seeking a new Director of Growth and Operations for immediate hire to oversee the formation and launch of a new on-demand staffing brand and online service. This fully remote position (with hybrid flexibility as desired) is a fulltime permanent position with incredible career, earnings, and professional growth opportunity. This is a leadership position and is for immediate hire and can be located remotely within California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Colorado, Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Connecticut.
POSITION OVERVIEW
GloballyHired is a new on-demand ecommerce site for seeking to modernize the process of hiring a temporary worker for businesses via a self-service approach. This unique leadership position will help build a new brand, its brand identity, voice, and oversee the website build by our external web design company partner. This position will help to design systems to empower the robust offerings of GloballyHired, and work to ensure the successful operation of the site and business. This leadership position will provide strategic ideas for implementation and execute the strategic vision plan for the company. To empower its growth as needed the role will help identify staff that are needed to successfully grow the company and help oversee their hiring. This position reports to the CEO and is part of the GloballyHired executive leadership team. They will also function as the Chief of Staff and to all new employees under the GloballyHired brand. This position will encompass significant strategic work, project management, hands on corporate formation duties, vendor management, strategic hiring and staffing and technical and service based operational leadership in both creation and execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the CEO to execute the strategic vision plan for GloballyHired.
- Help to plan phases, benchmarks, and create tactics to accomplish strategic goals.
- Take the lead in researching and creating core organizational documents including the company mission and values, service offerings, branding guides, operational processes, strategic plans, and reporting documents.
- Help to create the to-market strategy of what markets we will target first and how to gain candidate interest to.
- Plan local launches and gain exposure via social media and strategic promotions.
- Help create budgets, hire as the business scales and lead a team.
- Strategically guide the company to profitability and to grow to be a market leader.
- Hire, guide, and work with a PR agency to gain publicity for the company.
- Participate with our web design company partner in the branding process for the company, build and selection of the logo and story, and oversee the operational aspects of the web design build and ongoing site development.
- Work closely with the CEO, and the Scion Staffing Director of Marketing to set goals for social media, blogs and supportive marketing to push the brand to the public.
- Project manage and help lead the brand creation, logo design and strategic build of the website with the CEO.
- Help to envision and further build robust services to make on-demand hiring easier and more effective for clients.
- Monitor and review financial success and help strategize for further business growth and success.
- Build and maintain an operational system to run references, approve candidates for public hire.
- Help design the site and service to ensure the UI/UX is top notch.
- Oversee staff and once successfully scaling suggest executive roles to add to the executive leadership team of the company.
- Oversees the system creation of customer success and the hiring of customer success management and staff as demand grows.
- Works closely with Scion Staffing operations to ensure successful business payroll, billing, and HR related aspects are successful.
- Various strategic, operational, marketing, financial projects and client service aspects as the business grows.
- Attend PR and industry events opportunities to promote the company and brand
- Help plan an executive the growth plan for the company and hire strategically as we scale to support business demands.
- Participate in the strategy of the overall build, system design, backend technology capabilities, service model and all aspects of launching and growing a new online brand and service.
REQUIREMENTS
- Seven plus years of progressive experience in operations, marketing, team leadership, HR, or management at a similar entity.
- Prior management experience working at companies with online, tech or similar services/products.
- BA/BS or advanced degree.
- Understanding, interest, and passion for building a company and online brand specially part of the staffing and recruiting industry servicing national employers.
- Experience with direct-to-consumer companies, gig economy company structures or relevant work in a similar industry
- Prior experience helping an entity scale and driving success.
- Ability to lead teams, motivate others and build high performing teams
- Project management experience and recruiting and hiring prowess.
- Strong partnership development and business relationship building skillset
- A passion for technology and online product design, UI/UX, and customer experience.
- Prior experience working in a tech company or related service
- Experience or interest in learning employment laws as to temporary staffing services and the national landscape
- A passion for creating business growth, spearheading new paths, and overcoming challenges

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This is a wonderful opportunity to work for an award-winning established company launching a new brand and business in a positive and dynamic work environment! Total compensation for on target earning for the starting first year during launch and initial startup is $115,000 to $175,000 plus a full benefits package and has the potential for considerable financial growth and bonuses as the company scales in the years ahead. This is paid as base salary of $115,000 to $165,000 DOE, plus performance and team bonuses, 401k, paid individual healthcare (health, dental, vision) and so much more!
