Primary Job Function:
To present the company to potential commercial customers and to qualify opportunities thereby obtaining commercial service agreement sales that are competitive and profitable. Accountable for all sales activities and customer relationships between the company and commercial clients.

Pay Scale: Salary + Commission

Work Hours: 7:30am to 5:30 pm, Monday though Friday, some weeknights and weekends

Required Qualifications:
  • Two years of B2B sales experience
  • Knowledge of HVAC industry is recommended but not required
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Organized & timely in tasks, calls & projects
  • Two to five years of proven sales experience.
  • Time and activity management skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

Duties:
  • Schedule and keep appointments with prospects and customers as scheduled.
  • Effectively develop and communicate professional sales proposals to clients.
  • Maintain reporting of leads, in-progress active prospects and sales forecast. Weekly update of sales call planning, upcoming schedules and customer follow up
  • Contribute to the development of products/services and marketing strategies through creative packaging of company capabilities.
  • Increase and maintain profitable sales by working with customers to identify and satisfy customer needs and hurts through the appropriate application of a sales process.
  • Proactively target and establish relationships with prospects and vendor allies to meet sales objectives retain customers and position the company as the sole source provider of choice for their HVAC/R services.
  • Develop accurate estimates for service agreements by obtaining correct information from the building/jobsite.
  • Be available to answer questions that may arise related to equipment location.
  • Establish working relationships to address customer needs and hurts and discuss sales strategy within the company in the areas of marketing, technical support and operations.
  • Provide feedback to the appropriate manager regarding market penetration, profitable revenue opportunities and customer issues.
  • Develop and drive winning customer action plans to successful closure to meet company sales objectives.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of company's products and services, competition; customers needs, requirements and business issues; industry trends.
  • Turn in all required paperwork to the service manager within 24 hours of the customer signing the contract. This includes necessary notes, pictures, equipment information, etc.; to adequately communicate the job to the service department.
  • Other duties as assigned for accomplishing the revenue plan and sales objectives.

Performance Indicators:
Certain key business indicators that will measure the effectiveness of the Commercial Service Agreement Salesperson. These include the following:
  • Frequency of meeting target revenue goals
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Completing scheduled calls/visits timely
  • Completing weekly sales activity report
  • Weekly activity and schedule
  • Prospecting as directed both in timeliness and quantity
