Job description
Custom Picture Framer - designer
compensation: DOE 15 min
employment type: full-time
Northwest Framing is a family of picture frame shops, frame manufacturing and printing. We've been around since the 70s, starting out in Portland and then merged with MQF in Seattle. Over the years you may have visited a Beard's Framing, Frame Central or Museum Quality Framing - you were visiting an NWF shop!
We are local, with Seattle-based ownership and most of our manufacturing done in Portland. Our stores span the Pacific Northwest coastline from Seattle to Issaquah, Vancouver to Tualatin.
We're proud of our history at this company. It's not rare to talk to a coworker who's been with us for 20 or even 30 years. Why do folks stick around? Because if you're deeply creative, enjoy solving new problems every day, and putting a smile on the faces of customers, you won't find many other places to work that are better.
The one thing we all have in common is a desire to be independently excellent. Whatever your role, you will be welcome to be yourself. We're unabashedly un-corporate - no uniforms, no scripts. Picture framing is a centuries-old craft and folks who love it tend to be passionate originals. We all treasure that culture and welcome folks who will too.
In addition to the usual benefits like health insurance and PTO, we offer the kinds of intangible but extraordinary benefits that come from working with people who truly care.
If you're interested, reach out with a resume and cover letter. We look forward to hearing from you.
