***This role is 100% onsite in our office in Portland, OR***


SMITH is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join as its Office Administrator. This position assumes primary responsibility for overseeing the daily operations of the SMITH Office.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise office and support personnel.
  • Assist with office work, filing and distribution of interoffice mail.
  • Ensures that back-office support (ex: PO Creation and Pro Purchase Approval) is carried out timely and accurately
  • Support HR with employee engagement activities and administrative tasks
  • Manage all internal & external shipments.
  • Take requests and follow up on work orders pertaining to office maintenance.
  • Maintain the schedules and work orders for any necessary Housekeeping.
  • Assist in selecting and ordering needed equipment and supplies
  • Supports remote employees in ordering of business supplies.
  • Ensures that office is well maintained in appearance.
  • Upholds and promotes employee safety and quality. Adheres and enforces Company policies pertaining to office activity and conduct of employees.
  • Assist with travel arrangements
  • Supports in ad-hoc projects.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office environment in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Detailed with strong organizational skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft office
