Description:

Responsible for End-to-End leading of a project to develop software for a product, technology, system, solutions, services or IT solution. From the initial start until the introduction in the Market, or internal delivery, by gaining agreements on and achieving project scope and objectives while balancing schedule, cost, quality, requirements and keeping abreast of developments in project management tools and processes as well as technical domain, e.g. agile software development. Manages projects ensuring execution is in line with project guidelines and directives.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• Is responsible for formulating the (sub) project plan, in consultation with management and other parties concerned on base of the requirements
• Is responsible to organize the resources to be used (quality, time, allocation, budget and information), helps the team to organize and specifies the quality standard in the processes
• Identifies the risks of the project (f.e. specs, costs, planning, etcetera) and develops scenarios to overcome these risks by defining corrective actions and driving the projects to closure
• Coaches and directs project team members and gives them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally, including agile software development when applicable (where necessary, directs sub-Is responsible and facilitates for implementation and realization and release (if applicable) by the project team according to the project plan (specification, quality, time, money, information) and organization
• Represents the (sub)-project team in the overall project to optimize fit for use and overall effectiveness
• Gathers and integrates project performance and progress information. Reports on the progress of the project with an agreed frequency on quality, status, time, and money to senior management and to the project members
• Ensures that there is an effective transfer and archiving of the project results and the associated knowledge
• Reports on employees' performance to the hierarchical superior of the employees for the purpose of appraisal
• Ensures requirements and business case are defined, completed and approved
• Builds and maintains the project organization, helps the team to organize, chooses or coaches on the way of working and selects the adequate tools (tailors the approach to the specific project) and defines the interfaces with other functions, internal and external Client
• Is responsible for quality initiatives to ensure quality deliverables of subsystems delivered
• Deploys process improvements, supports continuous improvement of teams and makes the project organization efficient and transparent, in line with departmental and project processes and compliance to corporate policies/rules/procedures
• Manages internal and external stakeholders

JOB OVERVIEW
Prepares and implements small single discipline project or subprojects of an integral project, in accordance with agreed conditions on specification, time, cost and staffing

• Specific knowledge of technical engineering in the relevant technical discipline for the application or specific functional knowledge in the relevant functional discipline.
• Broad knowledge of planning methods, and estimation techniques (resources, time and risks) for the relevant technical/functional discipline
• People management in case of direct reports and enabling of teams

Reporting Line
Reporting to Project Leader C or Project Manager, Group Leader or Program manager.

Minimum Education & Training Requirements (Or Alike Area Or Equivalent Experience)
Should capture minimum/mandatory gradational levels/education and training required to perform the job successfully (if needed contact local Q&R for advice).

Education & Training
Typically Required:
• Bachelor
• Minimum Client Project Management
• Certification = Practitioner

Typically, 5+ years of relevant working experience, including experience of owning/leading work streams within projects from idea through implementation
