Job Description

The Opportunity:

The Senior Talent Acquisition & Human Resources Administrator is an innovative, strategic, and passionate Talent Acquisition/HR Representative at Mattel. This person is responsible for managing the recruitment efforts for all roles within Supply Chain & Logistics Operations at our Jonestown, PA Distribution Center. This role will be expected to develop new sourcing/recruiting strategies to build a diverse pipeline of talent for both current and future openings within the organization. This position will also be the HR Representative for the facilities 2nd shift.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Lead on-site recruiting initiatives to support site locations with meeting hiring headcount goals
  • Manage full lifecycle recruiting phases including research, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and offer presentation for candidates
  • Partner and consult with internal stakeholders to gain a clear view of their hiring needs, identify requirements and target specific skillsets
  • Develop external relationships: Build and maintain candidate pipelines for critical roles and present findings to key business leaders and HR Business Partners.
  • Attend career fairs, networking events and learning seminars, and act as a brand ambassador representing Mattel
  • Support company's diversity, equity and inclusion strategy by building a diverse candidate slate
  • Have a proven record in developing talent attraction strategies, especially for distribution center roles
  • Expert at building and optimizing customized out of the box strategies
  • Serves as HR business partner to assigned client group: consults on related HR issues to ensure organizational alignment in application of HR policies.
  • Promotes the importance of living Mattel's values.


Qualifications

What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience recruiting in Supply Chain & Logistics Operations (Distribution Centers, Fulfillment Centers, Warehouses) for both exempt and non-exempt roles in local market
  • Experience and/or exposure in providing HR support on Company policies and procedures
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills with a can-do attitude and desire to excel
  • Strong organizational, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
  • Sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where collaboration is key
  • Ability to represent the company as an employer of choice; to extend the brand in the marketplace and to share the culture and opportunity in everything you do
  • Work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, high stress environment, managing multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities
  • Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) preferred
