Sr. Pricing Analyst
Job Summary
Manage QBS system and maintain pricing by completing tasks from mailbox and reviewing e-DBR cases and lab updates. Work with Pricing Strategy, fee schedule owners, and Business Unit finance teams to implement pricing update and maintain family logic change. Conducts audits and support team to respond Internal and PWC Audit requests. Supports ad-hoc pricing requests for key internal customers.
Job Accountabilities
• Manage pricing mailbox and provides support to external customers via completing the tasks, such as building test codes and implementing pricing for standard and non‐standard sites; reviewing e‐DBR cases and taking appropriate action; and uploading UPF and SQF files.
• Establish new fee schedules in QBS. Build new fee schedules in the billing system for the national, hospital and local teams as needed. Work with the teams to implement pricing to the new fees schedule in QBS.
• Manage Family Pricing. Work on family pricing actions for various test codes. There were new additions and changes to the family pricing relationships in the system that were completed. Maintain the changes in the family pricing spreadsheet, communicate to the BUs, load guidelines to eAccount and ensure that the pricing and special pricing was in the system. BU specific families were established which involved defining and maintaining the control cards in QBS.
• Supports department with Internal and PWC Audit requests and provides all details requested within the audit to prove compliance in pricing processes.
• Support BIP report analysis and research.
• Collaborate with folks from Focus/QDID to load pricing into Hot Tub system.
• Collaborate with pricing strategy, medical coding, and Roanoke team to manage Roanoke codes and pricing.
• Support non-standard 5 sites pricing updates.
• Special Projects and Ad Hoc support
Job Requirements
Incumbent should possess the knowledge, skills and experience usually obtained by,
• 3+ years in a combination of financial analysis, Billing and accounting roles in medium to large size companies.
• BS in Accounting or Finance.
• Demonstrated analytical and project management experience.
• Knowledge of laboratory industry, payers and billing environment relative to reimbursement dynamics
• Demonstrated experience leading process and policy change across multiple functions
• Demonstrated creative thinking, problem solving, and organization skills.
• Demonstrated presentation and communication skills.
• MS Office Suite proficiency, with strong Access and Excel
