**Description:**
Our client is looking for 4 Avionics Test Technicians to work on components that are installed on a variety aircraft.
These positions are 2nd shift. Please inquire if you are interested in another shift.
Candidates will be responsible for calibration of company instrumentation, Troubleshooting and repair of customer owned units to component level of all analog and digital circuitry, and follow guidelines and procedures of FAR 145 repair station
MUST HAVES:
- Two (2) years technical or equivalent education.
- Must be able to troubleshoot down to the component level.
- Prefers candidates to have Boeing, Lockheed Martin or BAE experience.
- Open to candidates outside of Aviation if they have a strong electrical background. i.e. electronics troubleshooting to component level.
- Experience with Surface Mount Technology and through hole solder technology.
- Familiar with video and Ethernet circuitry troubleshooting (Flat Panel Instruments).
- Blueprint & Schematics experience.
- Completely fluent on the use of all electronic testing equipment. For example, scopes, multimeters, power supplies, frequency counters and other related test equipment.
