Apex is hiring multiple Manufacturing Associates to be an integral part of a growing Pharmaceutical company in the Horsham, PA area. This is an exciting time to join this company as they have recently received FDA approval for a high demand therapeutic area and are growing rapidly!

  • relevant experience or will need to be open to being trained in the industry
  • have some mechanical aptitude
  • strong attention to detail
  • strong work-ethic
  • willingness to learn cGMP and other industry specific protocols
  • want to start a career in the hard-to-get-into Pharmaceutical Industry!

Qualifications:
  • HS Degree is required
  • Minimum 0 to 3 years working in biopharmaceutical cGMP manufacturing environment, or equivalence in relevant experience is desirable, but not mandatory

Here are some of the Responsibilities you will be trained on:
  • Perform daily purification steps for cGMP manufacturing...aka Purifying a living cell line to make the drug ingredient and following FDA procedures!
  • Operate various manufacturing systems
  • Prepare production buffers, and clean equipment as required
  • Assist with process, equipment, and cleaning validation initiatives...aka Going through the steps to set-up new Equipment
  • Assist in the resolution of manufacturing deviations/non-conformances...aka Fixing what went wrong!
  • Assist with troubleshooting processes and equipment...aka Figuring out what could go wrong before it does!
  • Ensure work is completed following all company, government and safety guidelines

Physical Requirements:
  • Standing for long periods' of time.
  • Ability to wear a sterile gown and don shoe covers on a daily basis.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds.
