Job description
Bowling Green Brandywine in Kennett Square, Pa is looking for a full time Financial Counselor
Monday through Friday $14.00 per hour
A/P
This position will assist our clients with completing Medical Assistance Applications and follow up with MA office
Completing renewal packets
Obtaining Chester County funding
Presenting information to the team in daily meetings
Tracking co-pay information
Discussing self pay option with clients
Determining billing
Communication with the Central Business office on a daily basis
Daily census documentation
Verifying clients are in the appropriate programs
Verifying the number of discharges and admissions
Relaying financial information to other departments as directed
Reconciliation of admissions and discharges
Ability to be crossed trained in utilization management and accounts payable
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Excellent Computer skills
Attention to detail
Able to work with a team
Microsoft Office
Some experience with Chester County funding and Medical Assistance is desired but not required
Experience in healthcare
