Summary


Human Resource Generalist knowledgeable in a variety of HR related systems and processes. Main responsibilities to include hiring, licensing and on-boarding and administration of HR Information system. Liaison with gaming regulators. Provide information and interpretation of policies and procedures to management and team members.


Job Duties

  • Administer systems-related transactions in applicant tracking system, HR information system (HRIS), and learning management system.
  • Responsible for on-boarding and licensing being the liaison with the Casino Regulators.
  • Conduct property-specific team member orientation and on-boarding to ensure a positive new hire experience.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare reports regarding employment and labor-related matters.
  • Collaborate with Team Member Services, providing information and documents as requested and directing team members for assistance as appropriate.
  • Assist in organizing team member activities and recognition programs to increase team member engagement (e.g., United Way, TMOQ, Service Awards).
  • Serve as a liaison with team members ensuring proper completion of forms, explaining eligibility requirements and maintaining confidentiality of team member needs.
  • May investigate team member-related complaints or other matters, gathering basic information and witness statements.
  • Provide information and interpretation of policies and procedures to management and team members
  • Provide support to team members via phone calls, walk-in requests, emails, etc.
  • Offer a high level of internal customer service to team members to answer their HR related questions and provide appropriate guidance and support for their requests.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years of human resources experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR concepts, policies and procedures, with clear understanding of legal compliance requirements and employment laws.
  • Strong skills in MS Office applications..
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Must be highly organized and detail-oriented. · Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Ability to work varied hours, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
