Regional Human Resources Director (RHRD)
Remote Position - 50% - 70% Travel Required

Responsibilities:

The Regional Human Resources Director (RHRD) is responsible for development, oversight, and implementation of all of the Human Resource programs, policies, and procedures. The RHRD works collaboratively to drive the adoption of current HR best practices and to deliver timely, effective and innovative support to multiple hospitals in all areas of HR administration, including wage, compensation and benefits analysis and administration, employee relations, engagement and workplace safety, worker's compensation, EEO issues, leadership and talent development, communications, recruitment, and HR training. The position serves as a resource for the field on HR policies and procedures and acts as a liaison between field management and Corporate HR functions to meet The Select Medical Way goals in keeping our patients and each other safe, delivering an exceptional patient and employee experience and meeting the annual business plan. This position can work remotely when not traveling.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements:
BA/BS Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field required;
Five years applicable and progressive experience in Human Resource management required;
PC proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications. Knowledge of Oracle Human Resources and Microsoft EXCEL and WORD a plus.
Excellent independent research and project management skills.
Superior attention to detail and to task-prioritization/organization under minimal supervision and in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, and team skills with ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with mature judgment and integrity.
Approximately 50% -70% travel is required.
Preferred requirements:
Master's Degree
Healthcare HR experience
