Job description
We are looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. You will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of employees records and supporting the interview process. Your role involves performing tasks with a focus to grow our company's talent pipeline and improve our sourcing tactics. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. He/She will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar using HR software and tools. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages all human resources processes
- Monitoring administration employee health and welfare plans
- Acting as a liaison between employees and broker for insurance providers
- Assist in resolution of benefits-related problems
- Facilitates completion of employee health plan enrollment including new enrollment, changes and terminations
- Ensuring the effective utilization of plans related to HR programs and services
- Administering health and benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Answering employee HR related requests and questions
- Assisting with new employee hiring processes
- Reconciling benefits statements
- Conducts audits of payroll, benefits, employee files, and other HR programs as directed and reviews results with COO and CCO.
- Manages the recruitment of new hires
- Completes interviews with management staff
- Conducts new hire onboarding company introduction training and ensures follow up and completion of all new hire paperwork and processes
- Monitor and ensure compliance as it relates to required training to ensure we are meeting minimum training and tracking requirements for HCBS and MCO contracting
- Oversee and ensure monthly compliance with background and exclusionary check requirements
- Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Maintaining records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database to ensure all PA labor and industry employment requirements are met along with staff licensure and background checks as required
- Audits other activities as needed or directed by executive leadership
- Collaborates with external HR business partner on best practices, training and development opportunities, and advice on HR related issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Human Services / Social Services / Human Resources field, Master's preferred.
- Knowledge of HR standards and PA labor and industry requirements
- Knowledge of HCSIS and/or SAMS / Harmony portal is required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in human services/case management.
- Strong people skills and
- Proficient in MS Office applications with emphasis on Excel
- Ability to organize multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Multilingual a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
