Job description
Gift of Life Donor Program, the country's leading organ procurement organization is in search of an experienced HR Generalist who will be responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise to support our mission of saving lives through organ and tissue donation and transplantation.
You will play a key role in the success of the organization by providing full cycle recruitment support to hiring managers, facilitating the employee selection process, providing a wide array of HR services to staff, supporting HR programming, and managing projects associated with key HR initiatives while facilitating positive relationships between staff and managers. As a key member the 275 employee Gift of Life team, you will represent the nation's leading organ donor program, which coordinates more life-saving transplants than any program in the country. A non-profit, federally designated organ procurement organization, we partner with leading hospitals throughout our region to save lives and offer hope to thousands of families each year.
As Human Resource Generalist you will:
· Initiate and coordinate the full cycle recruitment and selection process, collaborating with and supporting hiring managers throughout the search process
· Effectively source, recruit, and screen potential candidates while providing a positive experience
· Ensure compliance with employment law and organizational pre-employment processing requirements
· Coordinate on-boarding and facilitate the initial day HR processing of new hires; conduct exit interviews and off-boarding meetings
· Maintain employment process records and generate search metrics
· Manage records throughout the employee life cycle by processing and documenting changes (new hire, transfer, promotion, pay rates, and separation) in HRIS and Talent Development systems
· Support HR, Safety, and Corporate Compliance training of new hires and staff
· Coordinate the workers compensation benefit, documentation, and reporting processes; facilitate the medical care and return to work processes; Conduct root cause analysis and identify injury prevention measures; participate on the organizations Safety Committee
· Coordinate annual programs including administration of influenza shots, tuberculosis testing, annual MVR driving history searches, etc.
· Create and utilize correspondence templates, forms, checklists, tracking spreadsheets, and other tools using Microsoft Office
Successful candidates will possess:
· a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field of study plus five or more years of related experience to include full cycle recruiting
· a working knowledge of ADA, FMLA, EEO, and other employment law/ordinances
· excellent communication and computer skills including Microsoft Office
· experience using HRIS, ATS, pre-boarding, and performance management software
To succeed in this role, you must be able to learn and utilize existing systems and work processes, and organize/coordinate multiple searches, accountabilities, and projects. The ability to initiate and engage in collaborative dialogue, demonstrate critical thinking, and exercise good judgment is essential.

Pay: $53,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
