Job description

CORA Services, a mission-driven organization located in Northeast Philadelphia, provides an array of services to children, youth and families who are experiencing emotional, academic and social challenges which impede their development and productivity. Currently, CORA Services is seeking a Recruiter to join our dynamic Human Resources department. The Recruiter will coordinate and participate in the recruitment process for open positions across the agency, and will be the first point of contact for individuals interested in joining the agency.

As the Recruiter, you are responsible for coordinating the recruitment process, beginning with opening the job requisition, sourcing candidates, participating in the interview process, making recommendations for hire, and ending with offering employment (closing the job requisition). Along the way, you will maintain all recruitment data in the agency's applicant tracking system, continue to look for innovative ways to secure a diverse, mission-focused workforce, and provide candidates with a memorable experience that leaves them wanting to work at CORA!

Recruiter Salary: starting at $52,000

Qualified Recruiter candidates should possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in a fast- paced recruiting environment; non-profit, mission-focused recruiting experience highly desired
  • Solid experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems; experience with ApplicantPro a plus
  • Excellent communication, documentation and follow-up skills
  • Passion for sourcing and connecting candidates to the right position, and strong desire to create a memorable recruiting experience for all candidates
  • Ability to be proactive and exercise a high degree of customer service
  • Basic understanding of HR policies and practices, specifically as it applies to employment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with staff at all levels of the agency, as well as candidates, clients, visitors, vendors and personnel from other agencies.
