Meet Jennifer, age 42.
Delinquency notices flood her mailbox. Phone calls interrupt day-to-day life. Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, suffocated by demands from the creditors, she feels there is no way out. It is all too much. It was not supposed to be this way. Everything was supposed to be fine. Circumstances took over like the wave of a tsunami; divorce, death in the family, unemployment, under employment, car accident, and medical bills.
In a fleeting burst of courage, Jennifer calls GreenPath. Her journey has been long and she's been beaten up along the way. Hopelessness is consuming.
Jennifer's emotional journey is not uncommon. 80% of Americans struggle with debt.
Jason's voice is calming and suddenly Jennifer feels at home. There is comfort and relief in finally admitting the need for help, finally telling someone that things are not okay. She is assured, "You're not alone. It's not your fault. It's going to be okay."
The tone is set for the remainder of her journey as Jennifer starts down her path to financial freedom.
