Job Summary:
This undergraduate internship is full time during the summer of 2022.

The IT PMO business analyst intern will work directly with an IT project manager to support project related activities. Specific project assignments will be defined based on department priorities. The intern will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional IT and business partners to achieve agreed upon objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support project activities by performing the following tasks:

Assist with project setup and execution in the form of creating and maintaining project artifacts such as Teams sites, status reports, project schedule, resource assignments, financial tracker, etc.

Assist in documenting requirements and/or user stories in partnership with cross-functional subject matter experts

Help to research and document current Business and/or IT process related to current projects in partnership with cross-functional business and technical subject matter experts

Document new process needed as a result of project work

Perform any research and analysis in support of project(s)

Assist in analyzing business goals, objectives, and needs related to current IT Project(s)

Assist with testing cycles by coordinating the creation and execution of test scenarios in partnership with subject matter experts

Track all testing defects, resolution, and provide regular summary reports

Attend meetings to help document any discussions, requirements, needed follow-up, etc.

Job Specifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred college student junior or senior level

Initiative, Integrity, Confidentiality, and Accountability

Ability to work independently and collaborate with partner information Security and cross-functional business and technical subject matter experts

Strong written and verbal communication

Technical aptitude with Microsoft Office productivity products

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree

Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies

Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)

Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients

Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Ability to work overtime as necessary
