Human Resources Director Needed!

We are a medium sized (100 employee) real estate development company that is regularly growing and is looking to expand its operations. This is a hands-on position, where you will be involved in payroll processing, training, onboarding, and employee relations.

You must be able to help build and develop our culture and retention. The successful candidate must have extensive experience with compliance and legal regulations and be willing to independently research topics that could affect the company.

Our perfect candidate has at least five years of Director or higher level HR experience. We need someone who has a full knowledge of HR - benefits, payroll, workers comp, insurance, employee relations, and have a practical approach to the position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and onboard the best employees
  • Ensure the company is in compliance with all regulations
  • Build a training and retention regiment for our company to follow
  • Offer suggestions to develop policies and procedures for the company
  • Implement employee relations policies to increase employee satisfaction
  • Communicate with employees about compensation, benefits and training
  • Establish an orientation procedure for onboarding new hires
  • Monitor training
  • Create a progressive discipline system
  • Collaborate with staff to identify promotion potential
  • Maintain payroll, healthcare plan, records and 401K plan

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ experiences of Director/High Level HR experience
  • Extensive knowledge of HR laws and compliance
  • Values intelligence, integrity and creativity
  • Hands-on, go-getter, independent and strong ability to learn and lead others
  • Motivated and has the ability to lift others up in morale
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
