Eby-Brown is searching for a Human Resources Manager who has a demonstrated ability of being highly effective in supporting a positive environment through the hands-on leadership and engagement in a challenging and rewarding environment at our distribution center located in West Mifflin, PA This position reports directly to the Regional HR Manager and manages a team of two.

This role is focused on managing HR functions which include employee relations, company policy, payroll, recruiting, hiring and other duties which support the effective personnel management.

What You Do:

* Working as a business partner with all members of management, and understanding their objectives so solutions can be provided to support the operation.
* Assisting with employee relations and facilitating issue resolution including investigation, documentation, and possible corrective action and consequence.
* Serving as an internal consultant to management on a broad range of HR topics
* Ensuring the completion of an accurate weekly payroll.
* Recruiting and hiring quality candidates to fill positions as needed
* Interpreting company policies and procedures
* Managing the on-boarding process for newly hired employees; which includes new hire orientation and initial benefit enrollment
* Managing the benefit open enrollments for 401(k), voluntary life insurance, and various other benefit options
* Coordinating employee event planning
* Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and legislation
